This anti-seafood girl tried, and dare I say "liked": fried oysters, crab claws, crab cakes, flaming oysters, and a shrimp po-boy.  However, crawfish sauce on grits was a little too much.   

I have to admit that I was not quite ready to come home.  I know that had something to do with the boys being in great hands.  Thank you Cathy and Don!!

fabulous 4th

 It's been HOT!  The boys and I met up with Craig, Jen and kids at my parents' for two days of fun in the sun.  Joel came over after work on Tuesday.

 "swimming lessons".  Eli was the teacher.  

 Eli: "Do the crawl stroke, unless you can touch.  If you can touch, just walk."  (they could all touch)

  I've had my camera fog up in Iowa before, but I had yet to experience that in Minnesota!

Father's Day

Noah had fun using his new fishing pole.

 Joel enjoyed some relaxing time in the hammock.  Wait, he had three kids on there with him.  Maybe it wasn't so relaxing.
